Pressure care specialist Airospring has announced a new range of dementia-friendly pressure cushions, which boast a non-clinical look that could otherwise be daunting for dementia patients.
During the creation of the new pressure cushions, Airospring worked alongside many different organisations including Alzheimer’s Society and The Care Workers Charity. The team of Airospring professionals have lots of experience in the care industry and wanted to create a cushion to help those with dementia.
The cushions are designed to look like a standard household cushion and are made out of a comfortable and breathable material – 3D spacer fabric. Airospring says that this fabric is a more effective method of providing pressure relief.
To provide peace of mind for individuals, the range’s non-clinical look means that they are not daunting for people with dementia.
